Infrared technology works by using an infrared camera to “see” infrared energy (heat). Because of an infrared camera’s ability to see visual heat, we are able to provide nondestructive testing to determine if water has infiltrated a roof system.

 

Water trapped in a roof system can have a detrimental effect on the integrity of your building and if left in place, can deteriorate the roof deck and even the bar joist, thus creating an unsafe building.
